Weil’s London Tax team was honored with the Best Corporate Tax Practice Award at the annual Tolley’s Taxation Awards, which took place on May 16, 2019, in London. The team, led by partner Oliver Walker, has advised on a number of high-profile transactions during the past year. The team was praised for its thought leadership, having authored various articles for leading tax publications as well as producing the U.K. Tax Outlook, a blog that provides legal insight and comment on the tax issues and trends of the day.

Since their inception in 2001, Tolley’s Taxation Awards have been recognized as a mark of excellence within the tax sector. Winners of the awards are determined by a panel of judges, consisting of leading tax industry professionals.

Weil was also recently a finalist for U.S. Tax Firm of the Year in Europe at the 2019 ITR European Awards.
